Day 1

I never thought I would do it, but I finally bit the bullet and bought a new 21.5" iMac to replace my home built, Pentium 4, 2.2 GHz, Windows XP PC that I started building 10 years ago in College.

I've loved Apple products since my second gen. iPod I got free back in College by filling out some survey, signing up for a trial membership of Netflix, and getting 5 other people to do the same. I was addicted when the iPhone was introduced, couldn't keep from buying the iPad, and now I have made the full switch to an Apple junkie with my first Apple Computer product since the Apple IIe in the early 1990s.

I am pumped about breaking into my new Mac to see whats inside. I've only rarely used the OSX operating system and the new Lion looks to have a lot of new features that I haven't seen before. I am looking forward to figuring things out.

First task, getting files from my PC to new Mac. More tomorrow.
